Amdahl Corporation's System Performance Architecture (SPA) department
is seeking people interested in analyzing the performance of "state
of the art" high-performance scalar machines (not limited to IBM 370
Architecture).

This work involves modeling, trace-driven simulation, workload development
and characterization, competitive evaluation, and performance analysis.
Useful skills include a knowledge of computer architecture, knowledge
of C, knowledge of SunOS and/or Amdahl's UTS, skills in porting
applications between SunOS and UTS, queueing, and statistics.  If
