Well, I have a bug, even after setting the "nice" option.  It is
demonstrated by procomm plus, but I'd bet it shows up elswhere.  To
repeat, set the nice option, recompile, reboot, go into procomm plus,
and type exit (Alt-X).  Notice that the lines surrounding the box
asking you to exit are not quite right.  The vertical lines are made
of the wrong characters! Any Ideas?  This is on an AT clone with an
EGA display
