Molecular Biology, Mass. General Hospital, Boston Lines: 19 We are in the final stages of deciding on a RDB product. We've narrowed the field down to two: Sybase and Cullinet. We are mainly VMS but hope to run the DB applications on Suns or Ultrix in the near future. If you have used both of these products I'd be very interested in your thoughts about the relative speed of the DB engine and the ease of administering the DB. I'd also be interested in hearing from anyone that has strong feelings about either Sybase or Cullinet. Please reply to me via email. I summarize to the net if there is interest.
