My mskermit2.27 is no longer working recently when I tried to dial into a 
system at UC, Berkeley:
I try to dial in systems on campus from a PC, using mskermit 2.27.
After the dial tone stops, I hear the same kind of noise as those
I hear when connection is set up with other communication software(eg.
bitcom). Up till this time, everything happens normal. So I hit 
carriage return a couple of times to get "Machine" prompt. 
But the prompt is not given and nothing is show up on the screen.
I used the same mskermit and same procedure about half a year ago, and
the software works. I use bitcom, and there is not problem at all ---
the modem should be o.k.

Is there anyone out there knowing what's wrong and send me an E-mail about
it?
