I am running GNU emacs version 18.50. In an attempt to figure out why some
things don't seem to work correctly in c-mode, especially with respect to
comments, I tracked to problem down to the use of parse-partial-sexp in
c-mode.el. So here are some questions: Is parse-partial-sexp designed to work
only with lisp code?  If so why is c-mode using it and does someone have a
version designed to work with c code or a version of c-mode that does not
depend on parse-partial-sexp?
