I heard a rumor from one individual that a public domain font conversion
utility exists and has been posted to some bb somewhere.  It was supposed
to convert HP-LaserJet soft fonts to HP-DeskJet compatible soft fonts.  
So, has anyone else ever heard of such a program?  It sounds a little far
fetched but the source of the information is quite reliable, although he
did not bother to copy the program since he had neither a LaserJet nor a
DeskJet.  Any information will be rewarded with my eternal gratitude...
