Lines: 21 Hi! I am wondering if anybody knows if there have been any attempts to port a ray tracing algorithm on a dataflow computer, or if there has been such a machine especially built for ray tracing. I am posting to both comp.arch and comp.graphics since I think that it concerns both newsgroups. It seems to me that a dynamic dataflow architecture is more appropriate to this problem because of the recursiveness and parallelism of the algorithm. Thanks in advance for any info...
