I have a group of SUNs with a server runing sendmail, we also have a mail routing machine which is a microvax (called mvax) which is using MMDF. The mvax supports the domain cc.ic.ac.uk which is our computer centre, the suns are also in this domain. Incomming messages to user@cc.ic.ac.uk are routed by mvax to the users nominated mail machine and this works fine. However if you mail to user@cc.ic.ac.uk from the suns it trys to deliver it locally. I want the suns to send such a request to mvax so it can go to the machine the user has nominated. Address of the form "user" should still be delivered locally. Incomming mail from mvax to the suns will have the full address of the sun eg user@suna.cc.ic.ac.uk. Non of the SUNs are in the NRS. I cannot seem to get sendmail to do this. Can you help me?
