Have you seen the mgr window system?  It floated by in one
of the unix sources groups some time ago.  As window systems
go, it was quite small.  Might not be small enough to fit
in PC Minix, though.  The posted sources were set up to
compile on a Sun, but the readme file claims it has been 
ported to the Mac and to System V.

Has anybody looked at porting mgr to Minix?  Does it need to
wait for Bignix on a 386?
