With NCSA Telnet on a Mac II we get typical FTP data rates of
2 to 3 Kbytes/sec when going through a KFPS-2 gateway.  When
using an Apple ethernet card, we get typical rates of 20 to 30 KB/s.

I would like to know if other people find these numbers to be typical.
