Does anyone know what to expect in how Ethertalk 2.0 will impact
KFPS1-3 boxes running KIP, talking to CAP? Are any of the KIP/CAP
experts going to work on patches?

We talked to Kinetics today, who told us that they anticipate problems
in their upgraded KSTAR based KFPS1-3 boxes, and are not committed
to supporting them for Ethertalk 2.0. They said they were committed
to supporting the KFPS4, however.
