Is there a mechanism within Apple for asking questions about this? Anyway, here's what I have: Target Mac is a Mac IIx with LocalTalk connection. My IP gateway is a Gatorbox. I installed Mac TCP with the "server option" and then rebooted. When I check the control panel, I see that no IP address has been acquired. I know that the Gatorbox is working because we use NCSA Telnet here to get IP addresses. The TCP version of NCSA just exits with no diagnostics. What am I missing? Do I need system 6.0.3? I have 6.0.2. -- Craig McGowan NYSERNet, Inc.
