Do the RFC's describe all the facets of the protocols?? I have heard about something called Military Standards (MIL-STD-17xx) which describe the military versions of the protocols. Do the protocols on the BSD machines have characteristics from both the RFC's and MIL-STD's (There was mention of MIL-STD's during the recent battle concerning SO_KEEPALIVE) ?? Also, are the MIL-STDS's a good reference and are they available by uucp or anonymous ftp? - Mark ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Andrews Systems Programmer, Alias Research, Toronto, Canada Phone: (416)-362-9181 UUCP: mark%alias@csri.utoronto.ca
