I figured I'd better send this now while I still have some time to get replies. I'm leaving CMU for good as of Monday 6/26. I'll be taking a job at KnowledgeSet in Mountain View, hacking user interfaces for CD-ROM retrieval software (Cindy McLaughlin, Doug Merritt's SO, placed me there). I will have UUCP mail access, but no access to Usenet groups. In case I don't get a net connection somewhere, here's my goodbye. I've been reading messages on this newsgroup since it began, and it has been both a valuable resource and a learning experience for me. Sorry I didn't make it to the FAUG meeting this month; I will be sure to make it to next month's meeting (as well as BADGE). I look forward to meeting you Usenet folk then. Lastly, I'll be taking a copy of AmigaUUCP with me when I move. If you know of a UUCP site in the 415 area code (SF) that would be willing to take on my A1000 for a once-daily news/mail poll, please let me know. bye, --M -- Michael Portuesi * Carnegie Mellon University INTERNET: mp1u+@andrew.cmu.edu * BITNET: mp1u+@andrew UUCP: ...harvard!andrew.cmu.edu!mp1u+ MAIL: Carnegie Mellon University, P.O.
