	This has caught at least one person and will probably catch 
	a few others still running under 1.2

	The 1.3 serial.device fixes bugs, especially bugs related to
	having multiple outstanding CMD_WRITE requests.  DNet V2 will
	use the latter and thus freeze under the 1.2 serial.device
