You are correct. The apollo drive use the QIC-24 format. The Sun drive does
either QIC-11 (/dev/rst0) or QIC-24 (/dev/rst8). If you use /dev/rst8 on the
Sun (and remember to rewind the tape after you insert it in your Apollo),
you can transfer tar tapes between the two system.
