I've seen things in Ansys, etc. where temperature contours are drawn using some sheme of blue->yellow->red, and I'm just curious if there's a standard set of values for those color tables. If anyone's got any tips on choosing good color tables, I'd love to hear/see them. Mathematical formulas for their generation would be great, or even just a table of 256 rgb values would be appreciated. (I've only got 8-plane machines as of yet.)
