I would like to thank all of you for responding to my question.
From the responses received, "Publish It! 2" is the best best
package currently available for desktop publishing.

I rejected Newsroom as a publishing program because I need to
import text files from various members of the group. (ie monthly
message from the president of the group is written up on a Mac,
and is imported by modem transfer).

Anyway, once my //c is up and running, Publish It! 2 will be on
it's way to my home.
