I don't recommend popping out the CPU chip with a screwdriver. Some of those chips are in there pretty tight. A friend of mine (a tech, by the way... shame on him) used a screwdriver, and damaged his motherboard. Cost him $300 for a new one (including labor). Use a spoon. Lynda
