One application I am working on which consists of about 8 files took about 1 min 30 sec and generated a 38K program. MWC with a ram disk takes about 4 min 30 sec and created a 50K program. The shell which you work from is excellent as is the editor supplied with it. I like the MWC resource program a little better, but there is certainly nothing wrong with the Megamax one. The shell also has a variable size disk cache which really speeds things up. Overall I am very impressed and have already deleted all my MW stuff. It took about 3-4 hrs to get up and running with laser C. I have had to make very few changes to the source code. So if anybody is shopping for a C compiler I've used both Laser C and MWC and would be happy to give you my opinion. No I am not connected with Megamax in any way. Brian Denheyer
