There are 2 of them in the 64, on the left-hand side. One runs the drive, printer, modem etc, and the other is for keyboard. I can't remember which is which anymore...but chack that. The other problem with the screen might be your 6581 chip. That's usually what I check when the screen graphics go nutso. Hope this helps, let me know if you succeed in fixing it!
