He can get the modem to work fine at 300 and 1200 baud, but at 2400 baud, extraneous characters start to appear and he can't even send the AT command to the modem. Is this a problem with the modem, the interface, or the C-64? I have a feeling that the C-64 is not fast enough to handle 2400 baud. Any help would be appreciated. Reply to the address below.
