Please help me! I need DECnet software for MS-DOS computers that uses one padding byte in the routing layer because one PDP I need to communicate with uses non-DEC DECnet software that demands one padding byte in the routing layer (rather than parsing the number of padding bytes as it should do). Can someone with DECnet-DOS please attach an Ethernet monitor to the net and tell me how many padding bytes are used in the routing layer? Or, can someone tell me if DECnet-DOS can be patched to use one padding byte in the routing layer? Or, does a source exist that can sell me a copy and deliver it in less than 30 days? Or, does anyone in the Milwaukee, WI, area use DECnet-DOS who can loan me a copy for a day or two? Sign me, Desparate deanr@lakesys.lakesys.com {rutgers, uwvax} uwmcsd1!lakesys!deanr
