There is an equipment broker operating in the Toronto area who is stealing equipment. These guys will get you to ship equipment to them on an emergency basis, with the promise to FedX a check in return. I was personally "hit" for a DEC memory board (MSV11-PL) which I sent under such an arraingement. The company is called "Computer Interconnect" or the "Interconnect". The people working the scam are Don McLeggon and Brian Richards, in Scarborough, Ontario. Their phone number is 416/398-4633. Please E-mail to this account if you have had simular experiences. I am utilizing legal means to recover, and would be glad to help out others. Also, you may want to check the seriel number of any 1 MB memory boards you may have recently purchased for your DEC 11/44. The stolen board is S/N ZG33101949.
