Thanks for all your help with Pam. The problem I was having was
that my DISPLAY variable was not set to unix:0.0.


P.S. If anyone has got autoraise to work under HPWM I would surely
like to know how. I did a strings on hpwm and FocusAutoRaise is 
there but there is no mention in the documentation.
