The CPU diagnostic lights quick flash on/off (which is normal) and then stop with the most significant and least significant lights on and all others off. It also appears that the RGB video board is not putting out a signal. Does the boot ROM turn on the video signal or is the boot stop because diagnostics detected an error in the video board. We have a 9000/330 board for a disk-less workstation. If the CPU board is sick, can we substitute the 9000/330 in for the 9000/320 board without damage until we get our other board fixed. I do not want to drag a HP repair rep. out to ND for board swapping if someone out there could help us.
