Wow, this is gotta be one of the most active newsgroups I've ever seen --
70 new articles a day!
	Anyway, I'm new to the MS-DOS world, having bought an AT to
help programming at U of T (You see, they use this weird Pascal mutant
called "Turing" to teach us kids programming, and the only machine having
a turing compiler than a SUN is a PC, surprise, surprise). I've been
toying with the idea of buying DBase or Clipper, or Lotus, etc, not
for my own use but with the sole purpose of attempting contract work
for businesses in need of temporary programmers, either for the above
or for anything else. I've been told by friends already making a living
doing this that it may be a good way for a summer student to make a
good summer's wage. Sounds good to me.
	My problem is that I have limited starting funds and would
like to know anything that might help me, especially *which* of the
above programs would be a good one to learn for this purpose. Am I dreaming?
Is it at all possible to find temporary work like this?
