Any comments >on these specific devices?? 24 pin dot matrix printers give you more letter quality-like characters and better resolution for DTP print outs. You can get some really nice quality printouts from 9 pins but considering how cheap the LQ500 is, I would buy the LQ500. That's what I did. The LQ500 does have problems with thick forms such as labels and envelopes but as long as you are careful things should work out.
