Original IBM AT (DOS 3.1) worked fine with original Hercules Graphics board. Recently inherited Video 7 VGA 16 and Zenith flat screen monitor, which recently worked fine in a Dell 80386 computer. When place card in original 6 MHz IBM AT and run IBM's setup, VGA only [H. only shows blueish monochrome on black, no colors. Have tested both positions of the video adapter switch (forward and backward) and in setup have called the monitor a color monitor. What's the matter? The setup program is the original one which only has CGA and monochrome options. Computer also has Intel Aboveboard with 1 meg a 20 mb HD, and a parallel/serial card and HD/FD controller (original, don't know maker). Any help would be appreciated. You may E-Mail responses unless mail bounces. Thanks in advance. M Volow, VA Medical Center, Durham, NC 27705 mvolo@ecsvax.UUCP 919 286 0411
