I'm working on a software package that uses the printer.  However,
I have been told that it refuses to print to a networked printer.  It
will only print to a local one.

Is there anything special that has to be done to get this to work?  I'm
currently opening the device "LPT1:" and simply writing to it.  Other
software packages on the system work fine.
