Keywords: help me Message-ID: <1706@pbhyg.PacBell.COM> Date: 23 Jun 89 00:14:32 GMT Organization: Pacific * Bell, San Ramon, CA Lines: 21 I have run into a problem using DBASE IV where the disk has lost clusters if the user does a CNTL-ALT-DEL. What we would like to do is either "trap" these keystrokes and then correct the state of the disk before issuing a "reboot" or find some way of making DBASE behave itself. Ashton Tate hasn't been much help, so I thought that I would turn to the net. Does anyone have some assembler code, or know of a source for this code that we could have? The code needs to be able to at least trap CNTL-ALT-DEL and prevent the command from being issued, or of course still better is the situation described above, where the code traps the command, issues a number of other commands that reset the disk, and then warm boots the system. Please email me since I don't read this group. Chris King (415)823-1347 -- Chris King San Ramon, California {ihnp4,lll-crg,qantel,pyramid}!pacbell!pbhyg!cak
