Having upgraded to Vantage before v. 6.5 of McSink was released, I found it hard to believe this complaint about McSink when I first heard it from someone else. Then I tried McSink 6.5.... sloooow is right! Rest assured that Vantage (now in version 1.1) is _not_ slow like McSink 6.5. On my Mac Plus (with a host of INITs) I find Vantage to be quite up to speed. The way I use my Mac, Vantage is a DA that is invaluable... I'd feel like I was back in the dark ages if I had to give it up. You really ought to upgrade to it. (Vantage is a multi-window text editor DA that does not have the good old 32K file size limit. It is by Dave McWherter and is available from Preferred Publishers, Inc. 1-800-446-6393.) (I am merely a satisfied customer.)
