    Would people who have had Quantum hard disk failures explain their
symptoms? I have begun to have boot failures on my 3 1/2 prodrive80.
It seems sometimes it won't boot and won't respond to the SCSI diagnostics.
It sometimes makes a loud grinding/clattering sound. Sometimes fiddling
with the cables seems to make it work, but not always. Then it seems to
start working suddenly. I don't know if I have a bad cable, or is it
starting to exhibit the same failure symptoms that I've been hearing
about?
