Well, the person I talked to at Letraset did confirm to me that 
there will be a version 4.5a sent out to all registered users. I got
the impression that this would be done automatically (i.e. no need
to send back an upgrade notice) and that it would be free. She did
not, however, give indication of when this would occur (I spoke to
her over a month ago).
