Missing 21-inch video cards?  Sounds like the great B/W - Color
monitor fiasco.  Remember when Apple misprojected demand for the
monitors on the early Mac IIs?  They thought everyone would buy black
& white, but instead everyone wanted color, and there was such a
severe shortage that Apple had to give out "loaner" b/w monitors to
new customers until the color monitors arrived?
