I asked MacroMind about an upgrade of the VideWorks II HyperCard driver to a 
Director-compatible driver, and I got the following answer:

  ln response lo your questions, ws have a Director Hypercard Drivsr
  that will be shipping mid-July. Our distributor, InnoGraphic, can
  take care of upgrades, and wiIl have lhe Direclor Driver as soon as il
  is available, Pleaso contact tham al Phone: 48-8-98-7700 or Fax:
  46-8-29-3375. Thefe will be an upgrade from VWII Hyperdriver to
  Director Driver, but the powers-that-be are still deciding what that
  will be. Again, we will advise InnoGraphic with the upgrade policy
  as soon as a decision is made. The driver will be compatible with
  Suporcard.
