Thanks to all those people that responded to my question about the missing
$91 and $93 characters when sending a{ text file.

It turned out that indeed the host (the AT at our printing office)
ignores the high bit of these characters and treats them as Xon/Xoff ($11
and $13).

I took the easy way out: before sending I change them into some other
never used Ascii code and have them re-converted at the other end.
Beats hacking an MS-DOS source co{de :)))
