This is a call for discussion to change the name of the moderated newsgroup
"comp.sys.masscomp" to "comp.sys.concurrent".

Since MASSCOMP was purchased by Concurrent and since the MASSCOMP USERS'
SOCIETY has been absorbed by INTERCHANGE (The Concurrent User's organization),
it seems appropriate to change the name of the group and it's charter
to conver the way things have become.

Please comment and on July 23rd we will call for a vote to change the name
of comp.sys.masscomp to comp.sys.concurrent. Comments can be posted to
news.groups or comp.sys.masscomp. If the latter, I will crosspost them
to news.groups.
