This simply put means that there are zones on the drive that have a different number of sectors per zone going from 54 sectors/track to 32 sectors/track. The different number of sectors is hidden from the SCSI interface as the interface represents logical block addresses only. I have used the CDC Wren V drives for quite some time under SCO and have had no problems with them.
