Although this behavior makes sense in some cases, generally people get a little miffed when their console gets taken over. What's a good solution? What's a good way to tell if you are not on your own console? Preferably I need a C and shell script solution. Configuration: RT running 4.3. Thanx in advance. Todd (tmh@well)
