Does anybody know of a public domain version of the "M4", the Unix macro
processor? Does anybody use this?

I'm doing some work in other languages besides "c", and I'm spoiled by the c
pre-processor. I'd like to have a way of supporting macros in other languages
in non-Unix environments.

If one doesn't already exist, would there be interest in a p.d. version of this
utility?
