i have been having much trouble getting my Wren V's to work
on my MIPS M120. CDC claimed they never heard of any problem.
MIPS said it must be hardware. The new release of the OS
(RISC o/s 4.0) seemed to alleviate but not eleminate the problem.
according to the MIPS people at usenix, it is a firmware bug
in the drive (fixed by sending it back) that buggers up on
big transfers (such as fsck might do).
