	In BSD there is an ioctl function which allows a process to
generate a signal I/O trap when input is ready to be processed (FASYNC
under the fnctl man page) - question - is there a parallel function under
XENIX?  It would be nice to be able to generate a signal when input is
generated, and allow the process to handle other information at the same
time.
