R&D, Schenectady, NY Lines: 14 Every once in a while I get the message kernel: WARNING: no file printed on the active console. The system (386 2.3.1) runs for weeks just fine and then prints this message. I can't associate it with any program not working, but once it starts coming out it tends to continue. I set the number of inodes and files up without any notable change. The system is running Excelan TCP. Any thoughts welcome. bill davidsen (davidsen@crdos1.crd.GE.COM) {uunet | philabs}!crdgw1!crdos1!davidsen "Stupidity, like virtue, is its own reward" -me
