We've been having problems using Crosstalk and SimPC under VP/ix. They appear to work fine when calling a system using 8 databits, no parity and 1 stop bit. However, when using 7 databits, even parity and 1 stop bit, SOME of the characters received from the other machines are duplicated. For example, if we were expecting: "please log in:" we might instead receive: "pplleasse llogg inn::" Please note that these are not characters we are typing, but characters sent by the remote system. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this? System Specifics: Unisys 950 (I think, it's a 386 box) SCO Xenix 2.31 VP/ix 1.0 Thanks in advance, Jon L. Griffeth jon@chiron.UUCP
