i have a small problem. while testing servers for PC's, i have found that
when my xterm client exits, he somehow causes my vax to send FINS 
on all his open connections. this tends to leave a lot of people 
very annoyed at me. what have i done wrong? i can understand how
i can be causing this to happen. the configuration is as follows:


Ultrix 2.0 on a uVAXII
name resolver libraries from the BIND 4.7.3 distribution.
X 11.3 gotten from expo within the last month.
the PCC based (not the VCC) c compiler.


any other useful information?
