I wonder if any of the subscribers have ever come across the
same problem I'm against now.

I've successfully installed GNUS3.12 to retrieve news
articles from the local news spool except for one (well, so
far) single problem: it claims

Article rejected; "~/.record": No match\Is a directory\

every time I post (reply) to an article though it is
*actually* accepted! (I mean, it's placed in the news spool)

Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.
