I have also been collecting bug reports for the GNU C++ compiler since December 1988, and have about 2.5 megabytes squirreled away. I've been saving bug reports in the hope that either I would eventually find the time to construct a test suite, or that someone else would step forward. There seems to be a bit of interest in this area now, hence this posting. Two things: 1) I would be interested in putting together a compiler test suite. If anyone is working on this, and would like some help, please contact me. 2) If you would like a copy of the bug reports I have saved, send me e-mail. You should probably send e-mail to me, *not* to the GNU mailing lists. Don't bother contacting me about bug report copies unless you are seriously working on a test suite which you intend to make freely distributable -- it is going to be a hassle getting this stuff to you.
