In particular, it allows us to use Unix based data analysis packages (like the S package) and then edit and annotate the plots using idraw. And by keeping everything on the Suns, we won't have to continuously copy MacDraft(tm) generated PostScript(tm) files from the macs to incorporate them into LaTeX documents on the Suns. Quite an improvement. Thanks to everyone who responded with suggestions. -jim
