They have a one-time cost of buying their decoder box ($125) and you supply the cable connection. I haven't looked into it any further because I won't have cable this fall, but it does sound interesting. I recall that their data transmission was at 9600 baud, but I dont know if it was ASCII. I dont know if your cable company has to be set up to pass it on, but I hope not! It would be GREAT if a company like this would start broadcasting Usenet News!
